He excelled in the sport throughout high school and played in the McDonald’s Lehigh Valley All-Star Football Classic. Along with football, Ryan also participated in wrestling and track and field.

sites de rencontre italien Ryan was a freshman in college at the time of the 9/11 attacks. A few days later, he withdrew himself and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After boot camp in Parris Island, Ryan completed infantry school and was stationed with 3rd battalion 6th Marines Lima Company. He is an OIF/OEF combat veteran and completed multiple tours in Afghanistan. The lessons he learned in the Marines instilled valuable qualities in him such as discipline, hard work ethic, camaraderie, and dedication. All of these qualities not only made him a great Marine, but also help to make him a great CrossFit trainer.

While trying to pull himself out of a dark place dealing with some addiction issues, he heard about CrossFit. After a tough WOD(workout), he was ready to see where he could take himself through CrossFit! CrossFit was, and still is (5 years later), everything Ryan could hope for, and not just in a workout routine, but in a dramatic lifestyle change. So much has happened since he found CrossFit, and he is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience to help others, especially under served youth in the community that need the help most.

recommended you read Originally from Cleveland, Ohio and long before his career in CrossFit, Mike was a a college athlete in baseball, basketball and football. After college, he worked for the YMCA as a sports and wellness director for youths and adults for 5 years. He had always been a gym rat, but once he moved he was looking for something outside of the regular gym. Bored with the routine and he decided to drop in at a CrossFit box and never looked back. He believes CrossFit brought out the best in him and forever changed his life. His favorite part of everyday is walking into the box and working hard alongside with the best people he knows. Everyone trying to get better at something together is what's so great about CrossFit and our community.
